Dognet Has Bridged the Tech Gap by Developing its Own Platform
For years, the network ran on an off-the-shelf platform, Post Affiliate Network, which served the Eastern European market well. But with rapid growth came new challenges: more campaigns, new territories, and higher client expectations. In 2021, the decision was made to build a custom platform from the ground up. After a rigorous period of development, testing, and refinement, Dognet 2.0 is now live—built to meet the needs of advertisers and publishers across Central and Eastern Europe and the Balkans.
Easier Campaign Management, Deeper Insights, and Greater Flexibility
The new system transforms how affiliate campaign performance is tracked. A key improvement is the use of redirect links, which allow full control over UTM parameters. This feature enables more accurate conversion tracking in GA4 and more effective monitoring of traffic overall.
Dognet 2.0 introduces detailed performance tracking down to each publisher’s project—not only the account level. This functionality provides advertisers with precise insight into which specific sites or sub-projects are driving success. Although this type of analysis was possible before, Dognet 2.0 elevates the feature to a whole new level.
Dognet 2.0 also offers:
- Advanced reporting and more intuitive admin system,
- Greater flexibility in campaign settings,
- Detailed insights into individual publisher performance,
- Access to statistics via REST API,
- Customisable functionality
Migration Reaches its Peak – Advertisers’ Migration Kicks Off on 20 May
Following a smooth migration of publishers earlier this year, Dognet reports that most have been successfully onboarded. From 20 May, advertisers will also gain access to the new admin system. All they need to do is log in or update their API connections to internal systems.
The entire network will be running on Dognet 2.0 by September at the latest, setting the stage for the rollout of new services in 2026.
The Future of Dognet Goes Beyond Affiliate Marketing
With the launch of its platform, Dognet now has full control over its development roadmap—free from the constraints of third-party providers, their priorities, or timelines. The network plans to introduce its first products outside the traditional affiliate space later this year. In doing so, Dognet is positioning itself not just as a performance marketing network but as a technology-driven company in its own right.
“I had a choice to make: sell the company or face a major technological challenge. I chose the tougher path. Today, I’m confident we’ve closed the tech gap and built a strong foundation for the future,” says Štefan Polgári, founder of Dognet.
